DAY EIGHT - ARE THERE MORE PPL LIKE ME?

It’s the last day of This is Not Hype! But it doesn’t end here…in fact this is just the beginning. And the last thing we want to share with you for now…is that your new life following Jesus is not meant to be done alone…And guess what…you’re not alone…There are people like you, teenagers who follow Jesus everywhere… Teenagers trying to work out life, and what it means to live different and trust God and be lead by his spirit. You don’t have to be alone.. At The Embassy, the first thing we want to do is help you get into a Crew. A Crew is a group of people, the same age as you being supported by a few leaders to unpack and live life. It’s so important that you join a Crew…that’s where you’ll make some of the best friends of your entire life. It’s where you can go with questions…its where you can go and ask for prayer…

Your Bible reading for today is John 13:34-35 and it talks all about Jesus’ command that we love one another. That means we support, encourage, look out for, pray for one another…He actually goes so far as to say that the world will know we’re his followers by how we show love to each other…There’s no better place to work on that than in a Crew. Another Bible verse says that the same way iron sharpens iron, one person can sharpen another…which pretty much means that in a space like a Crew you can make each other better, you can help each other follow Jesus well, you can pull each other up and you be there for one another!

Alright…you’re all done…We know for a fact you’ve grown so much in your relationship with God. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the amazing things God does in your life! One last thing…..never forget….this is not hype!
